Quintessentially English

Embankment - Early Morning Mist across the River Thames, London

The English landscape changes dramatically through the seasons. Mist in London is reminiscent of Victorian days where the likes of Jack the Ripper haunted the streets. In the summer the bright sun on the verdant trees and golden fields is a scene that hasn't changed since I visited those same fields as a boy. In the autumn and winter months everything changes again and roads may disappear under flood waters or branches strain under the weight of snow - you can never predict the English weather!
